Contributors:

e-Portfolio

  • Collection of authentic and diverse evidence that represents what person or organization has learned over time and which peron or organization has reflected upon.
  • Designed for presentation to one or more audiences for a particular purpose

Two types of portfolio (according to Helen Barrett):

  • Working (documents learning process)
  • Formal Presentations (looks at learning outcomes & goals)

You need both types; it's critical to know the purpose of the e-portfolio

Assessment systems - collect & analyze data on applicant qualifications, candidate's graduate performance

Learning (self-assessment, informal feedback, rubrics, portfolios

Accountability (i.e., standardized tests)
