I welcome you to my "Discovering Darwin" course that I have taught for almost 40 years (!), starting with a small freshman seminar at Brown University and then continued at UC Santa Cruz to as many as 120 students at a time. I have also taught it at Stanford University's Continuing Studies Program for older adults and to docents at Stanford's Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve. The response from students has mostly been positive, whether from non-science majors in the humanities and social sciences, or majors in biology, geology, and anthropology. You don't have to be intending to actually teach a course, but instead use this web site as a self-tutorial, and then try the twenty questions at the end to see how much you've learned! Contact me by e-mail if you have any questions or comments.
