Bio

Mark Danaher, NCC, MA, is a Master Trainer of the Career Development Facilitator (CDF) Program and Career Counselor/Educator for Manchester High School in Manchester, Connecticut.  Mark was named Teacher of the year in 2006/2007 and a finalist for Connecticut Teacher of Year.  He founded High School and Beyond seven years ago to share his knowledge and expertise in the career development and educational technology fields.

Learn about Moodle, a Course Management System (CMS).  It is a FREE web application that educators and trainers use to create effective online learning sites.  Learn how Moodle can be used to set your Career Development Course or Career Development training to set it apart from others.  Basic information will be given on online learning with a tour of a sample course.   Learn about tips to setting up Moodle to make it easy and consistent for users to access and understand your site.  See the variety of activities that you can have your students complete in Moodle to make assignments meaningful and connected.   Learn about some resources and reports that can help you build your course and see how your students are doing.
