The California Art Education Association (CAEA) will use our facility - specifically my photo/animation classroom - on Saturday, November 14, 2009 during their annual conference (to be held at the Wilshire Grand, November 12-15) for a series of Digital Media workshops.

CAEA, formed in 1965, is a prestigious, professional organization dedicated to the advancement of visual arts education at all levels in the state of California. It's members are k-12 and university educators working in all areas of the visual arts. CAEA's purposes are to increase public awareness regarding art education, develop and implement strategies for statewide arts advocacy, inform the membership about current issues in art education, recognize the achievements of art educators and students, advocate an art requirement for graduation from secondary schools,  align state and national visual art content standards, and assist the California State Department of Education with the development and implementation curriculum materials.
