iPhoto

  • Make adjustments to your best photos from our last class. Make sure the adjustments make your photo better... more detail in the subject area!
  • Watch this video to review the directions.
  • Repeat for at least 5 of your best photos.
  • Save those photos into your flash drive under the folder title "Exercise 1- 5 fixes- iPhoto"
  • Titles of 10 documents in folder: 

BEFORE you make any edits, duplicate the picture in iPhoto - You do that by clicking on the photo in your iPhoto album (Make sure you the picture is small, not BIG, when you duplicate.) See image below. Duplicate by clicking on picture & hitting these 2 keys: "command" & "D".   ... Then, make your edits.

Photoshop, Adjustment Layers

Save these PSD-fixed photos into your flash drive under the folder title "Exercise 1- 5 fixes- PSD"

 

  • Click "command" + "F" (for "Find") & then type "Photoshop" in the "Finder" search bar.
  • Double click on the Photoshop icon:   It will now appear on your dock.

 

  • Dragging from the desktop or your flash drive... drag your favorite photo into the mew Photoshop icon that appears on your dock.
  • Per the teacher demo, try the various adjustment layers to make it a better photo.
  • Repeat with 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th best photos.
