How to choose your 'best' photo:

When choosing your photo, use this grading rubric to help you.

The rubric gives a low grade to photos that are "trite." Basically, that means stay away from photos that are commonplace, cliched, hackneyed, ones that everybody takes and you've seen many times before (ordinary-looking flower close-ups, sunsets, etc.) Choose a photo that shows your own unique vision; a sense of inventiveness or imagination; a sense of style or experimentation; a way of seeing photographically that makes the ordinary extraordinary.

>> Take normal photo of yourself in Photo Booth

       > Click on desktop & type "command" + "F"... then, "Photo Booth"

       > Double click on the Photo Booth icon:  

       > Take a 'normal' photo of yourself

       > Click on that photo & drag it to the Desktop

 

>> Upload into Picnik.com 

       > No need to make an account

       > Just upload your Photo Booth photo from your desktop

       > Click "featured" and choose any of the non-premium effects

       > Turn your photo into scary a scary Halloween portrait
