How to choose your 'best' photo:

When choosing your photo, use this grading rubric to help you.

The rubric gives a low grade to photos that are "trite." Basically, that means stay away from photos that are commonplace, cliched, hackneyed, ones that everybody takes and you've seen many times before (ordinary-looking flower close-ups, sunsets, etc.) Choose a photo that shows your own unique vision; a sense of inventiveness or imagination; a sense of style or experimentation; a way of seeing photographically that makes the ordinary extraordinary.
