The Sandwalk that Darwin called his “thinking path.” Usually at least once a day Darwin made several trips along this circular path around part of his estate for mental and physical exercise, accompanied by his dog,Polly. Visitors can still today experience the quite solitude and rural ambience of the Sandwalk.
