Planning is well underway for another sensational week in the historic Irish American hamlet of East Durham for the 19th Annual Catskills Irish Arts Week hosted by the M. J. Quill Irish Cultural and Sports Centre. Another terrific faculty of teachers and entertainers will continue to make the CIAW the place to be for serious fans of Irish traditional music and dance. 

Visual Art and a range of crafts have been part of Catskills Irish Arts Week for over ten years. From a couple of classes we've expanded to include several sorts of Celtic jewelry, stone and wood carving, painting en plein air and in studio and a new class in Brigid Cross weaving. 

 This week only gets better with age as we uphold the very vibrant New York tradition of keeping the music and dance alive and well in the Catskill Mountains
