Hi, my name is Sara Mejia. In my year at film class I did three movies. I was the producer for Shhhh!!! It's A Secret, Love Blossom and Treat us good. Shhhh!!! It's A Secret is a movie about students that use drugs. I wanted to make this movie because I thought it would be a good idea to show why students use drugs. Most people don't realize that most of the time, students who use drugs have a reason why they started and why they continue using it. That's what this film is about. My group and I went out and interviewed actual people and found out amazing stories that nobody would have ever guessed.

My inspiration for making this movie was seeing how deans and other people mistreat and misjudge students who they know use drugs. Unfortunately, these people never take the time to find out the reason why they use drugs. So I thought it would be good and interesting to put that out there for people to know.

In Mr. Lansdown's class I learned so many things.  Amazingly, the things you learn in this class you never forget. I learned about things such as the rule of thirds, how to use the right music according to the setting, how to film, how to use micrphones, how to edit, how to work with different lighting and the most challenging part, how to work with what you got. This experince was good and fun for me and I would encourage people to take this class because you learn a lot, not just about film.
